Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a Civil Construction Team Leader to join the Infrastructure team!
- Permanent full time - 38 hours per week
- Rostered day off every fortnight - an extra 22 days off a year!
- Weekly pay cycle
- Salary range $1216.05 - $1459.23
ABOUT THE ROLE
To construct, maintain and repair Council assets. Provide assistance to the Water & Sewer Team and Roads sections including highways when required.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Possession of WorkCover WH&S Construction Induction Training (White Card)
- Current Drivers Licence Class MR
- Experience managing/organising a team
- Experience in WH&S, workplace risk assessments and toolbox meetings
- Ability to read and interpret plans and scematic diagrams
- Ability to set out work from plans and construct formwork to suit
- Ability to use a laser level
- Experience in concrete finishing
- Ability to use hand tools and small items of plant (eg; concrete mixer, wacker packer, concrete vibrator)
- Plant operator competencies (Loader, Excavator)
