Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join the Growth and Liveability team!
- Full time - Fixed Term (up to 18 Months) 35 hours per week
- Rostered day off every fortnight - an extra 22 days off a year!
- Weekly pay cycle
- Salary range $1207.02 - $1448.40
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Customer Service Officer is part of a team responsible in creating an initial and lasting positive impression on our customers, providing high level of customer service to internal and external customers who attend to either the front counter or via the phone with the objective of providing first point resolution. The position will also be responsible for Council's record management system and providing administration support.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Current Drivers Licence
- Certificate III in Business Administration (or Customer Service equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience with computers, including operating software systems, Microsoft office and internet
- Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service role
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to political and other issues
- Demonstrated ability to promote Council in a positive manner
- Willingness to learn new systems and possess a commitment to a continuous improvement workplace
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to Work Health and Safety
