Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a Claiming and Finance Coordinator to join the Aged Care & Disability Team!
- Full time 35 hours per week
- Rostered day off every fortnight - an extra 22 days off a year!
- Weekly pay cycle
- Salary range $1438.08 - $1725.65 per week
ABOUT THE ROLE
To provide administration and financial support in the processing of funding claims, payroll data, and purchase orders for Council’s Aged Care and Disability programs. This includes claims across Residential Aged Care, Support at Home Program, Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and wage subsidies for employees with disabilities.
Essential
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Certificate III in Business Administration, Finance or Community Services or relevant experience in a similar field
- Experience in administrative or finance support roles
- Basic understanding of aged care and disability program funding
- Experience with payroll and procurement systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality and comply with legislative requirements
- Current driver licence
