Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a Claiming and Finance Officer to join the Aged Care & Disability Team!
- Permanent part time up to 30 hours per week
- Weekly pay cycle
- Salary range $34.00 - $40.80 per hour
ABOUT THE ROLE
The position is responsible for overseeing the financial processes associated with aged care, NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), supported employees claims, and Support at Home services. This includes managing claims submissions, funding compliance, financial reporting, and ensuring that all billing processes align with regulatory standards for both sectors.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Understanding of the New Aged Care Act 2024
- Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Improvement
- The ability to manage time and priorities, people and resources to complete work
- Contemporary experience with aged care funding systems
- Experience in providing administrative support services to senior executive level
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrated financial management skills
- Current Class C Driver Licence
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Certificate IV Business Administration or equivalent experience
