Gilgandra Shire Council is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our Infrastructure team!
- Permanent full time - 35 hours per week
- Work a 9 day fortnight!
- Weekly pay cycle
- Salary range $1216.05 - $1459.23 per week
ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful applicant will be required to provide engineering support to Managers across various departments in order to achieve Council’s broader organisational objectives.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023.

ABOUT YOU
Council is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Possession of WHS General Induction Training (White Card) or ability to obtain prior to commencement
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related field or substantial experience in civil construction works
- Demonstrated strong computing skills encompassing excel, word, processing database software, and engineering software types
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Possess personal drive, a willingness to help others and a successful track record of working within a team environment across a number of disciplines
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety practices in Project Management and the Workplace.
- Experience in similar role within Local Government
